Other than blogging, my passion is doing fullbeauty magazine and our second issue just went up online at fullbeauty.com. It is 88 pages of gorgeous clothes and relevant information, but your opinion is more important than mine. So a favor…will you look at it and let me know what you think?
Bonjour! Yes, you're in the right place and I am so excited to be blogging from Paris. My sister-in-law and I decided to cash in points and got our flights and our hotel for free...okay, $90 in taxes but that's as close to free as Paris could possibly get. Shopping? While I did go a little crazy on handbags and jewelry, I do miss a country where the clothes actually fit me. Most stores carry up to a size 44, which is a size 12 on a good day. None of the shoes came in wider widths. I did not purchase one piece of clothing...not one! When I get back, I can buy some Taillissime so I can get the clothes to match the bags.
With a tradition that dates back centuries, May Day was originally about celebrating spring with dancing, singing and eating cake -- now that's my idea of a celebration! Brought to America by early settlers, May Day has been everything from workers’ day to just watching flowers pop up.
Fashion is a lot like people...each brand has its own personality. One brand that is quickly becoming a fast friend to both me and fullbeauty.com is City Chic. "Born" in Australia with a clear mission to provide the quintessential shopping experience, City Chic created a design collection with a "unique to chic" fit, fabric and print mix, quickly growing from 6 to over 100 stores across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and America. As a leading global plus size fashion, denim, dress and lingerie retailer, City Chic likes to say it is for 'Confidently Curvy' girls with a "Passion for Fashion."
Last night was the launch party for fullbeauty.com and fullbeauty magazine, and over 300 of the coolest bloggers, models and people passionate about plus size fashion got together with the queen of confidence, Meghan Trainor, performing two of her songs, including “All About That Bass”.
Ok, it’s snowing and just around freezing, but it’s the first day of spring…this is why optimism is so important. It will be warm, it will be warm, it will be warm. I’m so convinced as I twitch my nose and click my heels that I am actually putting away the heavy sweaters this weekend. I made a little spring shopping list and just ordered what I need to get ready when the real spring finally shows up.
Amidst all the publicity for the most provocative cover in Sports Illustrated calendar history, there is an ad in the issue that is getting just as much press coverage. It has the gorgeous plus size supermodel Ashley Graham, in all her amazing size 14 curves.
We've already changed the name of our blog, and now our website, OneStopPlus.com, is becoming fullbeauty.com, a name that accurately reflects and reinforces the sensibility of living life to the fullest…enjoying who you are and who you want to be, how you look and how you want to feel, what you get and what you want to give, knowing that fullbeauty is as much about caring as it is about curves.

Ask a woman what she wants to buy, and she’ll generally answer a blue sweater, a black skirt, a red jacket. That’s why we have a shop by color capability, but it’s especially valuable this time of year when our purchases are more targeted by occasion.
